We are often asked how best to style a headpiece as part of bridal jewellery. Our answer is always: There is no limit to your imagination and individuality! It can be used to fix the bridal veil or replace it; it can be the centrepiece or set a highlight; or, it can be combined with matching earrings, bracelets and necklaces. The same applies to eye-catching statement jewellery. Large drop earrings or a statement necklace pendant can add a real wow-factor when they steal the show, but they can also be cleverly combined with other pieces and work harmoniously in an ensemble to make a big impression.
Here are some examples for inspiration. The wonderful photographer Christina Hohner styled our headpieces “My One and Only” and “Devoted” in a romantic and elegant way by combining them with our statement earrings “My Dream”, “My Dearest” and “My Joy in Life” and the bracelets “Everlasting Love” and “Undying Love”. The result is truly beautiful and inspiring pictures that illustrate perfectly how our filigree headpieces suit different hairstyles and work in combination with other pieces to provide a real show stopper effect – without going over the top.
One of our favourite looks from the shoot combines the filigree headpiece “Devoted” with the opulent earrings “My Joy in Life” – both pieces are stand-alone highlights but when combined, they look incredibly harmonious, almost as if they had been made with each other in mind. Aside from our jewellery, we immediately fell in love with the delicate knitted bolero from “marryandbride” – an absolute it-piece for a winter wedding!
Last but not least, here’s a fun fact: For Christina Hohner, we created a bespoke necklace that obviously hit the spot. After gathering a huge following on Instagram, we included it in our collection, and our “Cupid” necklace was born.
